About Laurie Woodford

Laurie taught college English for twenty years in the U.S., South Korea, and China. She now works as a full-time writer with a soft spot for romantic comedy.

Before diving into writing Romance, she earned an MFA in Creative Writing, and published essays and short stories in numerous literary journals. One day, she picked up a contemporary romance novel and fell in head over heels in love. She's been writing Romances ever since.

Originally from upstate New York, Laurie lives in the outskirts of Austin, Texas where she loves spending time with her wonderful daughter, awesome son-in-law, amazing husband, and wonder dog, Journey.
